High-steer steering arms

Gary Kardum of Mudrak Custom Cruiser installed high-steer steering on my FJ55 in March, 2001. He used CNC-machined steel steering arms from Extreme Gear Off-Road in Placerville, CA. He swapped out the knuckle housings on the stock '76 front axle for mini-truck housings, as the high-steer arms require that bolt pattern. (Same bolt pattern as 1980s Land Cruiser knuckles.) Gary also fabricated new, beefy tie rods that use GM 1-ton tie rod ends.

The high-steer mod was done as part of a spring-over, shackle-reversal, et cetera on my FJ55. I am very happy with his work, and I recommend him!
