I love the seats in my FJ55! BMW 1994 540 seats. Electrics and leather. Used a narrow tuffy center console. Butch Lewis made the supports. Shaved the angled uprights that come from the floorboard, then made a big frame out of 1" square tubing that looks like this:
+---+
| |
+-+-+

| |
+-+-+

<-- front of vehicle
The frame rests on the angled uprights. He put captured nuts in the angled uprights and the floor and then did the same thing in the bracket - maybe some drilling/tapping in some spots IIRC - then mounted the seats and tuffy to the bracket. I had to modify the bracket later when I did the NP203 conversion, so now the tuff uses a nut and bolt to attach to the tranny hump in the forward point.
